New Horizons Computer Learning Centers is registered with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Our sponsor number is 010338. Once registered with one state most all states recognize the entity for qualification of CPE Credits to for CPA’s in their jurisdiction. Please check with your local licensing agency.

What Courses Qualify?

All New Horizons Computer Learning Center Courses taken qualify. Based upon the profession, the most popular courses are Microsoft Office, SQL, Crystal Reports, Oracle, QuickBooks, and programming courses.

Credits Per Course

One credit per hour of instruction. An average one day course is 7 hours with lunch hour subtracted.

How Does CPA Submit For Credit?

Most CPA’s understand the process as they need to submit annually for CPE Credit. Our course certificate, received upon completion of the course show the class hours and it is with the certificate that the student uses in submitting to the Public Accountancy Board portal for credit.

How Do You Submit For CEUs?

Renew with CE activities in 4 easy steps

  1. Make sure your certification is active
    Log in to your certification account and click the “Certifications” tab to review the status of your certification(s). You’ll find one of the following:
    • Your certification was issued on or after January 1, 2011, and is active.
    • Your certification was issued on or after January 1, 2011, and has expired. You’ll need to pass the current version of the exam to regain certification.
    • Your certification was issued before January 1, 2011, which means your certification is good-for-life (GFL). Learn more about GFL certifications.
    • You have multiple active certifications. Learn more about renewing multiple certifications.

  2. Agree to the CE Program Code of Ethics
    You will be prompted to agree to the CE Program Code of Ethics policy in your certification account on an annual basis. This must be done before you’ll be able to make payments or submit CEUs.
